Rupelian Age

The Rupelian Age is, in the geologic time scale, the older of two ages or the lower of two stages of the Oligocene Epoch. It spans from 33,900,000-28,100,000 BRMK. It is preceded by the Priabonian Age (part of the Eocene Epoch) and is followed by the Chattian Age.
